Maintenance
Department Functions / Responsibilities:
- This department is responsible for the building maintenance of City Hall, including the supervision of janitorial and lawn contractors.
- Daily maintenance calls are made at Fire Stations, Animal Shelter, Street & Environmental Services, Princess Theater, Robinson Building, and the Old State Bank. The Maintenance Department covers all facilities except Parks and Recreation.
- Storm Shelter – The basement areas are used during extreme weather conditions. An employee of the Maintenance Department is available during times of “Warning.”
- Fire Drills – The Maintenance Department is responsible for fire drills, as needed.
